STL to Madrid (24 Hours)

The adventure begins!

Abby, our daughter, collected us at 7:30 a.m. & took us to the airport! She's a gem!

STL to Atlanta (1st leg of trip)

With a 5 hr. layover we did a lot of people watching, reading and a bonus...Pat scored a haircut!

Atlanta to Madrid - Took off at 6 p.m., 8 hour air-travel touching down at 2 a.m. (9 a.m. - Madrid time)! How amazing it felt to get off of the plane and stretch my legs. Appreciation & gratitude for safe travel.

We moved through customs, caught a taxi and arrived at our hotel (NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado) located in the city center.

This will be home for the next 3 days as we acclimate, enjoy and partake in Madrid's sights, culture and food.

But, first we rest!!
